Delta Amateur Radio Club, Inc. promotes having fun with radio science, learning about the various aspects of amateur radio, providing emergency communications capabilities and services to the City of Delta Junction and the State of Alaska.

The 2020 ARRL Simulated Emergency Test (SET) will take place October 3 - 4. The annual, nationwide exercise provides Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) volunteers the chance to test personal emergency-operating skills and communication readiness in a simulated emergency deployment.
Delta Amateur Radio Club, Inc. will be sponsoring FREE FCC Technician level ham radio classes on two consecutive Saturdays -- 31 October and 7 November 2020 at the Diamond Willow Inn, 2485 Alaska Highway, Delta Junction. Classes will begin at 9 am sharp each day. FCC Technician level testing will be conducted on Saturday, 7 November 2020 at approximately 2 pm, (directly after the second class). Classes are free and open to the public, testing fee is $15.00 per test. You do not have to take the classes to participate in the test, but it helps!
